ROHM expands the line-up of the new “MCF18-series” (0603 inch size) SMD 3-terminal-filter capacitors that ranged from 10pF (50V) up to 47nF (25V), now up to 1.0 uF (6.3V).
Our 3-terminal EMI filter have become especially popular to eliminate noise from the power supply lines or on signal lines in devices such as Mobile Phones, PDA, Portable Media Players, Flat Panel TVs, Digital Still Cameras, Set Top Boxes, DVD Player, DVD recorder, Car Navigation, LCD projector, Car Air-conditioner, Photo-Copiers, etc.
Compared to traditional LC Filters, chip ferrite beads or 2-terminal capacitors the ROHM 3-terminal EMI filter provides a stronger noise attenuation, whilst integrating several components into one. This helps to save space and total cost at the same time.
All MCF18-series EMI Filters are rated for currents of 4A, a new bench mark in industry.
